[4-Weeks April] Intermediate 2 Stained Glass Class

This class is the perfect next step for those wanting to venture into making their own designs and creating more complex pieces.

In this class, students will learn to design their own 10"x10" copper foil stained glass piece! Flan will cover all of her tips and tricks for converting an idea into a structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing stained glass pattern. We will also cover how to use glass selection, copper foil overlay, wire details, advanced framing techniques, paint details, and patina to highlight your design. Students will then fabricate their design with the continued help of Flan to advance the cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering skills of the students.

For the pattern design portion of the class, Flan will cover hand drawing techniques as well as using Procreate on an iPad. So, feel free to bring your iPad with you if you have one.

Completion of Beginner 1 AND Beginner 2 AND Intermediate 1 or equivalent experience is required.

Class size is limited to 6 attendees.
