[August] Traditional Lead Came Stained Glass Class

Join Flan for 15 hours of instruction on building a traditional lead came window!

This class will cover foundations of leaded window assembly. Each student will be provided with a pattern and be guided through zinc came measuring and cutting, cutting glass to the right size for your lead came, leading up the window, soldering the joints, puttying/cementing, and cleaning/polishing. We will also address problem solving in leaded assembly and building windows for strength and aesthetic appeal. 

This class requires completion of Beginner 2 or an equivalent course, and it is highly recommended to have at least 3-5 independent projects completed prior to this class. This class moves quickly and will NOT be covering foundational cutting skills.

All supplies and materials are provided and included in the price.

Class size is limited to 6 attendees.

*Students MUST be available for all sessions of the class, as there are no makeup times offered.

Safety/Liability: Sharp glass, lead and chemicals will be used and proper handling techniques will be discussed at the beginning of every class. By registering and paying for this class, you do hereby release Flan's Glass LLC from any liability for bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to any personal property while on the premises and/or while participating in any activity hosted by Flan's Glass LLC.

Participants will be asked to sign a Waiver of Liability upon arrival to the class.
