[June 5] Beginner 1 Fused Glass Class

Join Flan in the studio for 2.5 hours to learn about fused glass! Students will learn about glass kilns, firing schedules, warm glass color theory, and assemble a project to be fired in a kiln.

Each attendee will design and assemble 2 coasters, learning how to cut glass, use mosaic cutters, and utilize a variety of fused glass elements. Projects will be fired in the kiln after the class and be available for pickup 1 week after the class.

All supplies and materials are provided and included in the price.

Class size is limited to 8 attendees.

Late Show: Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes late to the class! This is disruptive and important safety information is presented at the beginning of class.

Safety/Liability: Sharp glass, lead and chemicals will be used and proper handling techniques will be discussed at the beginning of every class. By registering and paying for this class, you do hereby release Flan's Glass LLC and instructor Flannery Thompson from any liability for bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to any personal property while on the premises and/or while participating in any activity hosted by Flan's Glass LLC and instructor Flannery Thompson.

Participants will be asked to sign a Waiver of Liability upon arrival to the class.
